According to them, there is no information about the purpose of collecting such data, its relationship to personal data, methods of its processing and storage.
«We propose to suspend the use of this technology until appropriate documents and decisions are developed and adopted. In cooperation with specialists and civil society, the authorized body for the protection of personal data should develop a system of criteria and conditions under which the system can operate without harming the rights of citizens and without risks to personal data,» the experts stressed.
It was previously reported that more than 75 percent of drivers in Bishkek and Osh fear that their personal data within Safe City project may be stolen and used.
