The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek considers a criminal case on the fact of illegal issuance of a passport to the Director of Sapat international educational institution Orhan Inandi.
The accused in the case is the former presidential chief of staff Farid Niyazov. During the hearing, the prosecutor said that the defendant was charged with corruption.
Farid Niyazov himself called the accusation ‘absurd’. «Where is the testimony of Taiyrbek Sarpashev? I do not understand the essence of the indictment. This is a political order. It is unclear what my personal benefit was. Where is Almazbek Atambayev, where is Sapar Isakov?» he said.
Check on the issuance of a passport to Orhan Inandi began. The Main Internal Affairs Department reported that the director of Sapat has dual citizenship. He received a passport of Kyrgyzstan in 2012.
Former head of state Almazbek Atambayev and the former presidential chief of staff Farid Niyazov are defendants in the case.
