Elections 2021: Voter turnout reaches 32.25 percent as of 20.00

At least 32.25 percent of voters cast their votes in the parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan as of 8.00 p.m. The Central Election Commission provided such data.

In total, 1,194,218 people cast their votes in the single electoral district. The highest voter turnout is in Naryn and Talas regions, the lowest is in Issyk-Kul and Chui regions.

At least 1,254,831 people voted in single-mandate constituencies.

Elections of deputies of the seventh convocation of the Parliament have ended in Kyrgyzstan. The electoral system was changed in the country, so there will be 90 deputies instead of 120. As a result, 54 deputies of the Parliament are elected according to the proportional system (open lists of candidates of political parties) in the single electoral district, 36 deputies — according to the majority system in single-mandate constituencies.

According to preliminary data from the Central Election Commission, six parties get into the Parliament. Winners in single-seat constituencies were also announced.
