The final voter lists for the elections of deputies of the Parliament, which will be held on November 28, have been formed and posted on Tizme state portal of voters. The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan (CEC) reports.
According to it, the final lists of voters were hung at the stands at polling stations seven calendar days before voting day, that is, on November 21. A total of 2,494 polling stations have been opened, 59 of which are abroad and 2,435 are in the country.
Compared to the number of participants in the referendum on the draft law on the Constitution, which took place on April 11, the total number of voters increased by 97,219 people.
The final voter list for the single electoral district includes 3,703,420 voters, 84,128 of whom were included in the lists at the polling stations formed abroad.
The number of voters in single-mandate constituencies is 3,619,292 (excluding voters registered abroad. — Note of 24.kg news agency).
Elections are scheduled for November 28 in Kyrgyzstan. At least 54 deputies of the Parliament are elected according to a proportional system (from open lists of candidates of political parties) in single electoral districts, 36 deputies are elected according to the majoritarian system in single-mandate constituencies.
