Coal prices in the republic increased by 10 percent compared to October. The National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.
Retail prices for coal on average increased to 5,706 soms in the republic. The most expensive coal is still in the south — in Nookat (10,039.9 soms), Batken (9,718.8 soms) and Isfana (9,091.2 soms). At the same time, the lowest coal price was registered in Chaek village (2,500 soms), as well as in Balykchy (4,049.7 soms), Naryn and Kara-Balta (4,500 soms).
The most significant increase in the cost of coal compared to October of this year was registered in Jalal-Abad — by 1,196.2 soms per ton, or 20.4 percent, Talas — by 1,290 soms, or 22.7 percent, Kerben — by 1,138 soms, or 19 percent, Toktogul — by 1,085.4 soms, or 17.9 percent.
At the same time, a drop in coal prices is observed, compared to the beginning of the month, in Chaek village (by 500 soms), as well as in Kerben (by 286 soms), Bishkek (by 174 soms) and Karakol (by 140 soms).
