Retail prices for coal as of November 11, 2021, compared to October, on average in the republic increased by 14.7 percent — up to 5,942.9 soms per ton. The National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.
The most expensive coal is in Nookat (10,000 soms), Batken (9,344.7 soms) and Isfana (8,746.4 soms). The lowest coal price is in Chaek village (3,000 soms), as well as in Balykchy (4,049.7 soms), Naryn and Kara-Balta (4,500 soms).
The most significant rise in price of coal compared to October was registered in Kerben — by 1,138 soms (19 percent), Bishkek — by 1,039.1 soms (22.8 percent), Talas — by 989.2 soms (17.4 percent) and Jalal-Abad — by 946.3 soms (16.2 percent).
