Dam under construction in Barskoon village for prevention of mudflows

Construction of a dam has begun in Barskoon village, Dzheti-Oguz district of Issyk-Kul region. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The dam is being built to prevent mudflows and mitigate their consequences.
