Kyrgyzstanis won five medals at the Open Cup of Fergana region in Taekwondo ITF. Taekwondo Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic (President Kerimbek Miyarov) reported.
The tournament was held in Fergana (Uzbekistan) with the participation of more than 700 athletes. Kyrgyzstan was represented by 10 athletes from Osh city and Osh region. Mukhammadali Zhuraev won silver medal in his category. Zhamshidbek Akhmatzhanov, Mukhamadaziz Ergashov, Khairullo Sotvoldiev and Mukhammadtohir Khaidarov won bronze medals.
«The national team of the Kyrgyz Republic is currently preparing for the world championship. It will be held in late October in Italy,» the federation told.
