Russia has revised the migration amnesty procedures for Kyrgyzstanis. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
From April 1 to April 22, 2019, citizens of Kyrgyzstan who have violated the terms of their stay in the Russian Federation have the opportunity to legalize themselves without leaving Russia.
«Kyrgyz citizens who are subject to the migration amnesty should come to any district office of the General Directorate for Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation with a valid Kyrgyz passport (ID card or international passport). A new migration card with migration registration will be issued to them there,» the Foreign Ministry told.
At the same time, Kyrgyzstanis who do not have valid identity documents (passports), in order to use the announced migration amnesty, should get a certificate of return to Kyrgyzstan at the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in the Russian Federation or at one of the consular offices of Kyrgyzstan in Russia. Then, they will need to leave Russia until April 22, 2019 and, at any time, enter back on the basis of a passport issued in Kyrgyzstan.
«The migration amnesty is not applied to citizens of Kyrgyzstan who are not allowed to enter the territory of the Russian Federation on the basis of judicial decisions on administrative expulsion from Russia,» the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed.
