The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov met with children who lost their relatives as a result of the crash of Boeing 747 cargo plane in Dachi-Su on January 16, 2017. The Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration reported.
«This day remained one of the most tragic in the history of Kyrgyzstan. We lost our compatriots, innocent children. On behalf of the people of Kyrgyzstan and on my own behalf, I once again express deep condolences. Let the children who have lost the loved ones and relatives have good health and a long, happy life,» said Sooronbai Jeenbekov.
The President presented the children with books with Chingiz Aitmatov’s works.
The plane crash occurred in the morning of January 16, 2017. Boeing 747 cargo plane fell on Dachi-Su settlement near Manas airport. At least 35 Kyrgyz citizens and four crew members were killed in the crash.
