Candidature of Zhanat Beishenov was nominated for the vacant post of the Minister of Transport and Roads of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
From 2017, he had worked as a head of the Railway Transport Department at the Eurasian Economic Commission. In 2015-2016, he was a PPP consultant for the international law firm Herbert Smith Freehills, in 2014-2015 — Advisor to the Prime Minister.
Zhanat Beishenov is not a new person for the Ministry of Transport. In 2005-2007, he was the First Deputy, and then the Deputy Minister of Transport.
Zhanat Beishenov speaks two foreign languages (English and Czech). In 2005, he received a Doctor’s Degree in Economics at the Prague University of Economics.
According to the Ministry of Justice, Zhanat Beishenov is one of the founders of Institute of Human Health Medical Center. The organization was registered in Bishkek in 2008. The director of the company and one of the founders is Dosmir Uzbekov, the former first deputy chairman of the State Committee for National Security. In addition, the founders include Kim Ki Yun and Jeon Jong Il. There is no data on the payment of taxes to the state budget by the company.
