Police detained a man in Cholpon-Ata town who raped his minor stepdaughter several times. Law enforcement agencies informed 24.kg news agency.
The fact of rape was revealed when the 13-year-old girl was taken to hospital.
According to the victim, her stepfather raped her last time in 2015. Medical examination confirmed the rape fact, but doctors failed to found out when the violence was committed.
«The teenager is from a problem family. When psychologists started working with the girl, she said that her stepfather had raped her several times. The suspect was detained. He confessed to the crime,» the police told.
The police department for Issyk-Kul region confirmed this information. A criminal case was initiated, the detainee was placed in detention facility.
