In 2018, Kyrgyzstan exported 400 million kilowatt-hours of electricity to Uzbekistan. This was reported at a meeting of the republican headquarters in preparation for the autumn-winter period.
The total cost was 16.5 million soms. According to the Ministry of Industry and Energy, it was planned to export 500 million kilowatt-hours.
The country sold electricity for 18 million soms to the neighboring country in 2017.
