Nursulu Akhmetova has been relieved of the post of head of the Department of Strategic Development Policy, Economy and Finance of the Presidential Administration. The Information Policy Department reported.
The head of state Sooronbai Jeenbekov signed a decree according to which Nursulu Akhmetova was transferred to another job.
Recall, in 2015, Nursulu Akhmetova held the post of the Chairwoman of the Board of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund. On March 14, 2016, Kubanychbek Kulmatov was appointed to the post instead of her.
Earlier, the lawyer of the former Prime Minister Sapar Isakov, Nurbek Toktakunov, appealed to an investigator of the State Committee for National Security to interrogate Nursulu Akhmetova within a corruption case. The lawyer stresses that the accusation based on an official note to the leadership of the country, which supposedly «outlined the price offer of TBEA company.»
«However, the note does not have a trace of lobbying for some company, moreover, it was prepared and signed not only by Sapar Isakov, but also by Nursulu Akhmetova, against who the investigation has no complaints. Indeed, what claims may there if the note does not contain anything illegal and it fully conforms to the format of the relationship between the president and the government stipulated by the Constitution and the laws,» said Nurbek Toktakunov earlier.
SCNS did not grant the petition of the lawyer.
