Migration, human trafficking, drug trafficking, extremism and terrorism are not a complete list of issues that were discussed during the meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Bishkek. The President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly George Tsereteli told.
According to him, over 300 delegates from 47 countries of the world took part in the assembly’s work. «We learned a lot from each other, analyzed the problems faced by the countries. Many of them are solved only together,» he noted.
According to him, the OSCE understands the importance of mutual cooperation for development. «We highly appreciate Kyrgyzstan for an active development of democracy and the active civil sector,» he said.
George Tsereteli stressed that the task of the OSCE PA was to help with the advice, but it rested with the governments to decide. «We help to establish a dialogue between parliaments of different countries. We gather and openly discuss,» he added.
