The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov takes part in the meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State. The Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration reported.
After an official ceremony of the meeting and joint photographing, the leaders of the CIS countries left for a meeting in a narrow format, where they exchanged views on cooperation within the framework of the Commonwealth. Questions of the chairmanship over CIS and holding of the next meeting have been considered. The meeting will continue in an expanded format with participation of members of delegations.
The presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov, Azerbaijan — Ilham Aliyev, Belarus — Alexander Lukashenko, Kazakhstan — Nursultan Nazarbayev, Moldova — Igor Dodon, Russia — Vladimir Putin, Tajikistan — Emomali Rahmon, Uzbekistan — Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Prime Minister of Armenia — Nikol Pashinyan and the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan — Purli Agamuradov participate in the CIS summit of Heads of State.
The head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Daniyar Sydykov, told that Sooronbai Jeenbekov planned to meet with the Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the summit. The heads of the two countries plan to discuss topical issues.
