Sovereignty, identity, image and existence of Kyrgyzstan are in danger. The representatives of the Council of Elders of Kyrgyz Clans told at a press conference in 24.kg news agency.
The Council is concerned about the amount of the external debt of the Kyrgyz Republic to China.
«The amount is huge and heavy. The media openly say that under the guise of issuing loans, China is introducing its colonization potential and mechanisms of supranational management into the country. Frequently, the main purpose of issue of loans by China is not profit, but the acquisition of territories or especially important facilities of debtor countries in exchange for writing off loans,» the coordinator of an expert group for working out a development strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Marat Usmanov, stated.
The Council of Elders sent its proposal on resolving the problems of external debt to the President Sooronbai Jeenbekov and the government.
