Insurance payments are increasing in Kyrgyzstan. A member of the executive board of the State Financial Supervision Nurlan Baibosunov announced this today at a press conference.
According to him, 18 insurance companies work in the republic. Aggregate assets amount to 4 billion soms, and total equity capital — 3.3 billion soms. This demonstrates the development of insurance. On the other hand, companies are forced to increase their assets in order to stay on the market.
For the first quarter of 2018, the volume of insurance payments was 20.1 million soms, having increased by 14 percent compared to last year.
