New director of National Historical Museum appointed

Keneshbek Almakuchukov was appointed Director of the National Historical Museum. Press service of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The relevant order was issued by the Minister Sultan Zhumagulov.

The former museum director Anarkul Isiralieva became the Deputy Director for Scientific Work.

Earlier it was reported that the renovated State Historical Museum would open in March. The building underwent major repairs of internal premises — walls, roofing, engineering external and internal communications were completely replaced, equipment and media sets were installed.

Keneshbek Almakuchukov is 54 years old. He is Associate Professor, Doctor of Economics.
