The Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Health Aibar Sultangaziev filed a lawsuit against the Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan Talantbek Batyraliev to protect his honor and dignity.
The statement of claim was registered in the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek.
According to Aibar Sultangaziev, the Ministry of Health accused him of concealing the fact of his criminal record. «Although the letter from the Ministry of Internal Affairs expressly states that the conviction was removed from official records in 1999, and this cannot affect my reputation. Other information disseminated about me is also not confirmed by documents. My reputation suffers from all this. Therefore, the minister should apologize and compensate for moral damage,» said the Chairman of the Public Council to 24.kg news agency.
Aibar Sultangaziev asks the court to recover from the Ministry of Health and Talantbek Batyraliev jointly a compensation for moral damage of 100,000 soms.
Talantbek Batyraliev is not available for comment.
