A Memorandum of cooperation in the field of hospital school for cancer patients was signed in Moscow between the Dmitry Rogachev National Medical Research Centre of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. Dinara Alyaeva, Executive Director of «Pomogat Legko» NGO, informed.
According to her, the memorandum initiated cooperation in the framework of the creation of an innovative platform «Designing and implementation of educational environment for children receiving long-term treatment in medical institutions» and the project «UchimZnaem — Kyrgyzstan.»
The introduction of the hospital school will ensure the right to education of seriously ill children, who undergo long-term treatment. Academic and preschool education are vital components for comprehensive medical and social rehabilitation of children with cancer.
