Kyrgyzstan counts state property

All state property has been counted in Kyrgyzstan. Duishenbek Zilaliyev, head of the State Property Management Fund, told about the conducted inventory today at a press conference.

According to him, there are 65 state agencies and 1,862 subordinate to them structural subdivisions in Kyrgyzstan. According to preliminary data, more than 1 million objects were included into the interdepartmental automated system.

«Because of the lack of central record keeping system, the government did not have reliable information about the value and volumes of state property. Data of statistics, justice, State Registration Service are different and can not give a real picture of the state of the country’s property assets,» the head of the State Property Management Fund said.

Now it is possible to openly keep records of state property, to have reliable information on the cost of objects, he believes.
