Tolkunbek Abdygulov downgraded to Vice Prime Minister

The Parliament approved the candidacy of Tolkunbek Abdygulov for the post of Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan. The decision was made today at the meeting.

Earlier, Tolkunbek Abdygulov held the post of first Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan. And Vice Prime Minister Duishenbek Zilaliev was dismissed from this post in connection with the transition to another job. Zilaliev worked on the post for three months.

Tolkunbek Abdygulov was recommended to the post by the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sapar Isakov.

«The composition of the government is changing, so the preparation is being held. Tolkunbek Abdygulov will also supervise the economic sector. The First Vice Prime Minister will supervise the fuel and energy sector. I supervise the power sector by myself,» the head of government said.

It is expected that the first Vice Prime Minister will be the deputy of the Parliament from Bir Bol faction Askarbek Shadiev.
