September TV Сompany filed a complaint to the Supreme Court in connection with the illegal decision of the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek to close the channel. The TRC informed.
It is noted that the judge of Pervomaisky District Court Zhyldyz Zhumabaeva passed a decision without a defendant and lawyers. The hearing lasted about an hour. The defendant’s party did not have time to get acquainted with the claim or with the case itself.
The Prosecutor General’s Office filed a lawsuit against September TV channel in connection with the statements of the ex-head of the Osh Regional Department of Internal Affairs Abdylda Kaparov on the air of the television channel on September 29, 2016. The Prosecutor General’s Office said that his statements were considered as extremist. Representatives of the TRC noted that the interview was aired by another channel with the same name, but already closed.
