Kyrgyzstan has enough coal for population and budgetary institutions

There is enough coal for the population and budgetary institutions in Kyrgyzstan. This was stated at a government meeting on the preparation for the heating season 2017/2018.

As of November 1, the budgetary institutions prepared 146,600 tons of coal under the current plan of 141,500. As noted, as for the budgetary institutions, the system of the Ministry of Education consumes the most of solid fuel — 92,000 tons. As of November 1, 66,400 tons were prepared with the current plan of 64,900.

The population needs are 1.74 million tons, as of November 1, at least 638,100 tons stored up with the current plan of 525,400.

To date, 623 fuel bases and coal selling points have been opened in the republic, most of them in Jalal-Abad region (149), least of all in Osh (15).
