Kyrgyz citizen planning to crush into crowd by Kamaz arrested in Moscow

A citizen of Kyrgyzstan, who tried to persuade two men to commit an act of terrorism in Moscow crushing into a crowd by Kamaz truck, will be prosecuted. Prosecutor’s office of Kirov region reported.

«Between February and March 2017 [the accused] inclined on the Internet two residents of the Kirov region to commit terrorist crimes in Moscow city, including use of Kamaz truck for the organization of an accident and hitting the people,» the report said.

According to the investigation, the accused, being a supporter of the international terrorist organization banned in Russia, placed graphic text images in one of the social networks from August to September 2016, which contained linguistic and psychological signs of inciting hatred towards representatives of another social group (not Muslims).

The man was detained by officers of the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kirov region. He is accused of preparing for a terrorist act, an attempt to promote terrorist activities and public justification of terrorism. Currently, his criminal case has been sent to the Moscow District Military Court for examination on the merits.
