More than 30,000 tons of Talas beans exported in 2017

Since the beginning of 2017, the Talas region has exported 30,110 tons of beans to Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and other countries. 24.kg news agency was informed about this in the sector of agrarian development of the office of the plenipotentiary representative of the government in the region.

According to it, in 2017 almost 55,000 hectares were sown in the region with beans, which is 2,000 ha more than in 2016.

«We have harvested almost everything, the yield was 18.4 centners per hectare. Gross harvest is about 99,000 tons. The price for  «lopatka» breed reaches 50 soms per kilogram (for harvester, and the peeled — 55 soms). In 2016, the price reached 80-85 soms,» the department informed.

 13,200 tons of beans of new harvest have been already exported.
