Japanese specialists repair road equipment idle in Kyrgyzstan since 2010

Specialists from Japan have repaired special equipment for repairing of Kyrgyz roads, which has been idle since 2010. Press service of the Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

According to the ministry, special equipment for asphalt paving was used in the construction of roads from 2007 to 2010. With the help of Japanese specialists of SAKAI firm, the machinery has been repaired and re-commissioned.

On September 21, the Minister of Transport and Roads of the Kyrgyz Republic Zhamshitbek Kalilov inspected the construction of the second and third kilometers of Bishkek-Krasniy Stroitel road with the use of special equipment (Japanese stabilizer of SAKAI firm) designed to raise and process old worn pavement with the addition of cement and subsequent rolling of the processed asphalt concrete in one pass.

«This section of the highway will be used in the future for 10-15 years,» the Ministry of Transport added.
