Observers of the CIS mission arrive in Bishkek

The headquarters of the CIS mission arrived in Bishkek, the Central Election Commission reported.

Since September 20, observers will start monitoring in Kyrgyzstan. A total of 200 people are expected to arrive. The Mission will be provided with the necessary assistance in carrying out its functions within the framework of national legislation.

The presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan will be held on October 15. The campaign of candidates will start since September 10. Today is the last day of submitting signature sheets. Current number of candidates for post of president of Kyrgyzstan — 42.
