The Russian authorities will prevent «color» revolution in the country and other CSTO countries. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin stated in an exclusive interview to MIR TV channel.

«We know that different theories that are being implemented in different regions of the world lead to serious destabilization in these regions. Of course, nothing of it should be allowed, and we will do our best to behave appropriately in Russia and support our CSTO partners in every possible way," Vladimir Putin said.

Earlier, the heads of other CSTO countries told about the threat of «color» revolutions in an interview with MIR. Thus, the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev called the «color» revolutions an external intervention and said that the counteraction to this threat had been discussed at the joint CSTO exercises.

President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev said that every country should first of all deal with its internal problems.

«We still see the West’s attempts to impose some of its orders, its values without taking into account the mentality of people, without taking into account the level of civilization in this or that country. And this leads to the situation that we see today in Iraq, Syria and Libya. I think it would be good if no one tried to impose one’s own vision on this or that country," the Kyrgyz President said.

According to Almazbek Atambayev, external forces in the country support a «big harmful campaign» against Kyrgyzstan's accession to EEU.

In the interview, the Russian President also voiced the main goal of the Russian Armed Forces stay in Syria, condemned the supporters of the US missile strike against Syria and commented on the possibility of depriving the members of «Islamic State» of the Russian citizenship.»
