The lawyers defending the interests of Ata Meken party leader, deputy of Parliament Omurbek Tekebayev, intend to appeal against the decision of judicial bench of Pervomay district court of Bishkek. The day before, it issued a verdict on taking the politician in custody for two months in SCNS pretrial detention center.
«In the next five days as it is prescribed, we will appeal to the Bishkek City Court and will insist on changing the measure of restraint to house arrest," the lawyers said.
According to the supporters of the deputy, the rallies in his support will continue today.
