Kyrgyz Customs Service collects 29.3 billion soms in 2016

During 2016, the State Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic has collected 29.3 billion soms. Its first deputy chairman Altynbek Torutaev said at a press conference on the results of the past year and plans for 2017.

According to him, in comparison with actual receipts of customs duties from the third countries in 2015, there has been collected 8.6 billion soms more. The increase amounted to 141.3 percent.

Customs payments without fees amounted to 16.2 billion soms, which compared to 2015 is more by 46.3 million.

The duty from the EEU countries amounted to 13.1 billion soms, which is 2.9 billion less.

«In 2016, foreign trade turnover formed in the amount of $ 3.5 billion. The volume of exports of goods amounted to $ 1.1 billion. The volume of imports — $ 2.4 billion," Altynbek Torutaev said.
