Two customs posts on the border of Uzbekistan with Kyrgyzstan have been switched to 24/7 work mode. LogiStan reports, citing Customs Service of Uzbekistan.
The customs posts Fergana in Fergana region and Ok-Kiya at the entrance to Shakhimardan exclave began to work around the clock, without breaks and days off.
The transfer of customs posts to 24/7 work mode took place within the framework of the agreements reached in mid-July 2024 at a meeting of the Presidents of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, the media outlet notes.
