An incident involving the fall of ammunition from a military aircraft has been recorded in Kyrgyzstan’s Issyk-Kul Region, law enforcement sources said.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred on March 31 in the evening over fields near the upper part of Sary-Kamysh village in Issyk-Kul district. Two craters measuring approximately 2–3 meters in radius were found at the site.
No casualties or injured have been reported.
The Internal Affairs Department of Issyk-Kul region confirmed that the incident has been officially registered, with case materials sent to the military prosecutor’s office for further investigation.
Authorities are currently working to determine the circumstances of the incident and the type of ammunition.
