The document management system for members of Parliament has been transitioned to an electronic format. Speaker Marlen Mamataliev announced during a session of the Zhogorku Kenesh.
According to him, until now a large amount of paper was required to support the activities of the speaker and deputies.
During the session, he demonstrated stacks of documents and instructed the parliamentary staff to remove them.
«As part of the digitalization of our work, a decision has been made to switch to an electronic format. Parliamentary committees will soon also switch to the same format. We are also introducing artificial intelligence, which will help optimize our work,» Mamataliev added.
