Head of Issyk-Kul district Zhaparbek Ormonov has been detained. The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
The head of the district was taken into custody until September 4. He is accused of corruption committed in the interests of an organized group, a criminal community, or causing serious harm.
Recall, Zhaparbek Ormonov was appointed head of the state administration of Issyk-Kul district in August 2023.
