Illegal migrants from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan expelled from Sakhalin

Illegal migrants from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan have been expelled from Sakhalin. Sakh.online reported, citing the press service of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for Sakhalin Oblast.

«Bailiffs of Sakhalin Oblast expelled a group of illegal migrants from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan from the island. The foreign citizens arrived on Sakhalin to earn money, but did not take into account the nuances of migration legislation,» the statement says.

It was discovered during the inspection that the foreigners’ migration cards and registration had expired, and they had no employment contracts or licenses.

The violators were brought to administrative responsibility for violation of the rules of entry and stay in the Russian Federation. Each of them was fined 2,000 rubles.

The court also issued a ruling on their forced expulsion from Russia with a ban on entry into the country for five years.

The migrants were escorted to the state border.

Since the beginning of 2024, Sakhalin bailiffs have expelled 296 foreign citizens, who illegally stayed on the territory of the Russian Federation. Most of them are Kyrgyz and Tajik.
