Former Deputy Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan Adyl uulu Kuban has been placed in a pretrial detention center. The press service of the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
On April 30, 2024, President Sadyr Japarov signed an order, according to which Adyl uulu Kuban was dismissed from the post of Deputy Prosecutor General.
«By the decision of the Pervomaisky District Court dated November 12, the petition of the investigator was granted. A preventive measure in the form of detention until the end of the investigation, that is, until January 10, 2025, was applied to A. uulu K.,» the court noted.
It is known that criminal cases have been opened against the former official under the articles «Creation of an organized group or participation in it», «Financing of organized groups and criminal communities», «Complicity in a crime», «Preparation for a crime» and «Violent seizure of power» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
