Speaking at the opening of Osh — Nookat highway, the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) Kamchybek Tashiev threatened politician Adakhan Madumarov.
He noted that the former deputy would suffer because of his words he said about President Sadyr Japarov.
«We must bring to justice all the undisciplined people. We must show them how the head of state is working day and night. This Madumarov will suffer again because of his tongue. He left Parliament, distanced himself from the people because of his statements,» Kamchybek Tashiev said.
Earlier, Sadyr Japarov, commenting on a possible change of the national anthem, recalled that Adakhan Madumarov himself once proposed changing the flag.
«I will give you an example. In 2009, the head of the international organization Transparency International and I met with Adakhan Madumarov, who was then the Secretary of State, the main ideologist of the country. After the meeting, Adakhan asked me to stay and showed me papers with images of the new flag, anthem and the national emblem. The color of the flag was blue. He spoke about the need for a change, mentioning that the flag of his ancestors was blue. He even said that the eagle’s feet on the current emblem looked like chicken’s. I then said: «Yes, you are right, it is worth making changes. The flag looks great. You are a wise man, since you noticed all these details.» He probably already forgot about it,» the president told.
In response, Adakhan Madumarov posted on his Telegram channel that either the Parliament or the head of state changes the anthem.
«The Secretary of State does not change it. Famous aksakals, scientists, and cultural figures came to me. They proposed different options. These discussions did not go beyond my office. «I don’t remember him (Sadyr Japarov) being in my office. Why should I trust him and say these words? Who is he that I should tell him anything?» he said.
