Microcredit companies provided almost 30 billion soms to Kyrgyzstanis in 2024.
According to the National Statistical Committee, in the first half of the year, loans received by citizens from microcredit organizations amounted to 29,921.5 billion soms. They were borrowed by 560,600 people.
Compared to the same period in 2023, the number of citizens of the country who took out microloans increased 1.6 times, the volume of microloans issued — by 26.6 percent.
Women became the main recipients of funds — 54.5 percent of the total number of those who took out microloans.
