Sadyr Japarov presents Turkish Foreign Ministry with national yurt

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov presented the Turkish Foreign Ministry with a national yurt. The press service of the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan reported.

As part of the working visit of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Aibek Moldogaziev to Ankara, a meeting was held with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Hakan Fidan, who received the Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

During the meeting, issues of regional cooperation, economic development, and strengthening cultural ties among the member states of the OTS were discussed, along with key topics concerning multilateral and bilateral interactions between the countries.

The participants emphasized the Turkic world’s commitment to enhancing cooperation in the economic sphere, expressing the intention to expand trade and economic ties, create new transport corridors, and support joint investment projects.

The parties highlighted their intention to strengthen and deepen cooperation within the Turkic world and to further promote the values and interests of the Turkic world on the regional and international stage.

During the meeting, Aibek Moldogaziev presented the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Hakan Fidan with a certificate confirming the gift in the form of a Kyrgyz national yurt fully decorated in traditional style on behalf of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.

It was noted that the gift of the President of Kyrgyzstan symbolizes the harmony of bilateral Kyrgyz-Turkish relations, the commitment of the parties to the further development and strengthening of strategic relations between the countries based on the unity of history, culture and language of the two fraternal peoples.

The Kyrgyz national yurt will be installed on the territory of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, where foreign ambassadors and employees of diplomatic missions will be able to get acquainted with the ancient history and nomadic culture of the Kyrgyz people.
