Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev instructed to open small agricultural processing plants adapted to local conditions in each district. The website of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan says.
The official noted that one entrepreneur currently provides for three pensioners, and stressed the need to increase their number so that one businessman could support one pensioner.
He also announced plans to achieve $30 billion in gross domestic product by 2030 through support for small and medium-sized processing enterprises.
In this regard, a demonstration center was opened at Kyrgyzindustry OJSC, where entrepreneurs and farmers can get acquainted with successful business projects. The center offers equipment for agricultural products processing and assistance in obtaining financing for opening small businesses.
