The death toll from the explosion at a gas station in the suburbs of Makhachkala (Dagestan) has reached 11 people. Interfax reported.
«In Dagestan, rescuers have pulled another dead person from under the rubble,» the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported today.
The day before, at about 8.30 p.m. (Bishkek time), an explosion occurred at a gas station in the village of Novy Khushet in the suburbs of Makhachkala. Earlier, it was reported that 10 people were killed, including two children, and 11 people were injured.
The gas station building was destroyed, and a fire broke out after the explosion. It was reported at about 11 p.m. that the fire was brought under control on an area of 500 square meters.
A criminal case has been opened on the fact.
