An earthquake was registered in Batken region at 9.41 local time today, September 9. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
According to the Institute of Seismology of the Kyrgyz Republic, the strength of the tremors reached magnitude 2.5 in Kok-Tash village and magnitude 2 — in Bulak-Bashy village. The epicenter was located 10 kilometers southwest of Kok-Tash, 21 kilometers west of Bulak-Bashy and 35 kilometers southwest of Batken.
According to preliminary information, there are no casualties or damage.
