The 3rd Eurasian Economic Forum will be held in Yerevan from September 30 to October 1, the website of the organizing committee says.
The event participants will discuss current areas of economic cooperation between the member states of the Union, such as the strategic development of the EAEU, comprehensive cooperation and technological partnership, digitalization, development of transport infrastructure and logistics, the quality of the domestic market and support for entrepreneurship, as well as international cooperation. The topics of the sessions of the business part of the forum will be focused on finding solutions to current issues on the agenda of the Eurasian «Five» that require joint attention.
The event is timed to coincide with the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and provides for the participation of heads of government and representatives of state authorities of the EAEU countries, members of governments of third countries, heads of large, medium and small businesses, representatives of international organizations interested in development of cooperation within the Union.
The forum will be held under the chairmanship of the Republic of Armenia in the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union in 2024. The program consists of more than 30 events, including a plenary session with the participation of the heads of government of the EAEU on the topic «Digitalization in modern realities — an imperative for ensuring four freedoms.» During the discussions, experts from participating countries and third countries will discuss new areas of strategic development of the Union.
