In 2024, the potato yield in Kyrgyzstan is higher than in 2023. The press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry reported.
According to its data, the average yield in 2024 is 170 centners of potatoes per hectare, which is 4.2 centners more than last year. The highest yield is registered in Chui and Issyk-Kul regions — 180 centners per hectare.
The press service reported that 310,000 tons of potatoes have been harvested to date.
