The head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov met with holders of El Umutu international presidential scholarship for the 2024-2025 academic year. The government’s press service reported.
Akylbek Japarov congratulated the scholarship holders on receiving the presidential scholarship, noting that this is not only a well-deserved award for their hard work, but also a sign of trust and responsibility. He emphasized that the scholarship, established on the initiative of the head of state, provides unique opportunities to study at leading global educational institutions and participate in advanced research and projects.
The official expressed confidence that the scholarship holders will return to their homeland with new knowledge, ideas and skills. These achievements should become a powerful impetus for the development of the country.
The ceremony of awarding the presidential scholarship was then held, the press service notes.
The program provides financial support, the amount of which can reach $50,000, to young Kyrgyzstanis, who have entered one of the 100 leading universities in the world.
