Law enforcement officers detained a 30-year-old woman, who beat up a 12-year-old boy in Suzak district. The press service of the Internal Affairs Department of Jalal-Abad region reported.
It was reported earlier that an unknown woman beat up a 12-year-old boy on a playground in one of the shopping malls in Jalal-Abad city on August 17. The incident allegedly occurred after a quarrel between the teenager and the woman’s son. The police told that the victim’s mother contacted the police only on August 19. The boy has a concussion and was hospitalized in the regional hospital.
A case has been opened under the article «Hooliganism» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the necessary examinations have been ordered.
The woman was detained on suspicion of beating the teenager and placed in a temporary detention facility for 48 hours. The investigation continues.
