An earthquake occurred in Kyrgyzstan. The Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to its data, the earthquake of magnitude 4 at the epicenter was registered on August 8 at 1.12 p.m.
Its source was located on the border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, in the mountains of Trans-Alai Range, 20 kilometers southeast of Bor-Debe village, 45 kilometers southwest of Nura village, 140 kilometers southeast of Osh city.
The tremors were felt by residents of Osh region. The intensity of the earthquake reached magnitude 3 in Bor-Debe village, in Nura village — magnitude 2.
