Customs officers detain smuggled medicines from Tajikistan in Batken

Smuggled medicines were detained in Batken region. The Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan reported.

According to its data, the Batken customs officers checked Opel Astra car driven by a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic. The car was traveling from Batken to Osh city.

During the inspection, 14 boxes of medicines illegally exported from Tajikistan without accompanying documents were found in the cargo compartment and the passenger compartment.

The fact was registered and the collected materials were sent to the prosecutor’s office of Batken region.
